Gorey Musical Society is honoured to bring this powerful and moving musical drama to Gorey, depicting one man’s battle for peace that cost him his life but changed Ireland’s history forever.
This musical drama brings together key moments in Ireland’s fight for independence such as the Easter Rising, the War of Independence, and the Civil War.
This powerful musical drama follows the true story of Michael Collins’, the Irish Rebel, and his battle for peace during the 1916 Easter Rising against the British.
Through it all, Michael Collins’ strength is fortified by a formidable young woman, Kitty Kiernan, as his undying love for her keeps him fighting – even through his very last days.
